Posted March 5, 2010. i would advise against replacing any parts without the correct diagonsis. Check the airbag fuse first will be listed in the owners manual. If the airbag light is on i find it impossible to beleave that there are no fault codes present. Clearing the codes alone will not solve this fault. Hope someone can help, getting u0140-e code on pcm and u0140-a on obd which follows after saying fault will be confirmed. The u0140-e, say additional information: signal above maximum threshold same for the obd. The mk2 had its problems just like the mk3. However std to std the mk3 is quicker, more refined and handles better. The mk2 now looks outdated on the exterior and interior.
